It's been a while since I've shared any of these. I feel I should get back into that habit.
Speaking of habits...
French Nuns Land Record Deal
A record of Gregorian chants...perhaps I'm a little single-minded, but Gregorian chants always make me think of the early scene from 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. What is interesting is that these nuns are not allowed to have visitors, and can only have contact with the outside world through a grill. So all of the work going into the record? Must be done by them.

This one, I just find amusing. It's very clever, and the amount of work that went into wrapping every individual item...Now if only the students were as dedicated with their studies.

A short article, but what do you think? Do you expect more out of your partner because that's how it is in the movies? Are you disappointed when they don't act like the men/women in the films?

I, for one, am quite glad that the heat wave has seemed to have moved on. I like warm weather as much as the next guy, but that was getting a little ridiculous. At least for New York. I'm sure if any of you are from the Southern states, it was feeling just like home. But we're kind of wusses when it comes to heat up here. I do like being able to walk to the little grocery store near my home and not feel like I've run a marathon.
In other news, BP has finally managed to get a cap, no matter how temporary, on the oil leak. Congratulations, that only took...what is it...three or four months now? I know there's much more to it than just sticking something over the hole, but it seems to me that they, as well as the government, just seemed to drag their feet on this one. I don't know about you, but I felt a little sick and more than a little annoyed when one of those 'positive spin' BP commercials would come on.
With that, I am off. I'm attempting to find a show to see this week, if any of you have any suggestions.

Wow, it's been...a while since I've written in this thing. I completely forgot about it, mostly because it isn't something I see as being 'overly important'. Maybe because I've actually got very little to say that I can't just go up to someone in the office and say.
What's happening in my life? More of the same. Interesting, I know.
